To serve you better we now offer sewing machines with the dedicated quilter
in mind. We have a Bernina Aurora 440QE at the store that you can take for
a sew. We also have the Janome Jem 760, the perfect machine for classes
and traveling. Stop in the store and we will gladly give your a tour and
let you sit down and sew up a storm with our floor machines.
The Aurora 440 has so many great features that we can only cover a few on them here.
The Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR), senses how you move the fabric when free-motion quilting and keeps your stitches consistently the same size. A must for stippling and free motion sewing. It has a Cool Fluorescent Light that wraps around the needle end of the machine, lighting the entire bed with a bright, white light. It comes with a Snap-on Extension Table that is transparent, with a clear area right over the bobbin case so you can see what you are doing without having to bend over to look under the Extension Table. The Extension Table snaps into place so there are no legs to get in the way on your sewing table. The table is easy to put on and take off and stores in very little space with no disassembly.
