Materials for first class:
Seed Pod Pattern by Laura Heine available at Tiger Lily
3/4 yard pattern ease foundation
Quilters preview paper
Applique pressing sheet - the shop has one to use if you do not have one Start with 1 yd of steam a seam 2 Black Sharpie Fabric scissors - I recommend Karen Buckley Perfect Scissors. They have micron serrated edges that help prevent fraying.
Fabric for background 24” x 34”. Can be one solid piece or several different fabrics, your choice.
Fabric for flowers - colors of your choice. Scraps work well.
2” WOF strip for ground
Pencil - lead or colored
I found I had a lot of material left over based on the instruction recommendations. The same held true for the steam a seam. We will discuss in more detail at the first class. But do bring enough fabric to get you started.

NO sewing machine is needed until the collage is complete and you are ready to quilt it.
